Sheet billets in brushed stainless steel signal quality and are used in the production of furniture either exclusively for ornamental purposes as for example perforated plates or as a part of the construction of e.g. refrigerators and freezers.
Stainless steel in sheet form comes in many different qualities and can be surface-treated in numerous ways. Additional to brushed stainless steel, polished, bright annealed, pickled, matted and annealed stainless steel is available. Depending on your choice of surface-treatment you can change the style and look of a piece of furniture entirely.
When used for indoor purposes, stainless steel is basically maintenance-free but has to be wiped off regularly if the look has to remain the same.
