FTP server access

FTP is a way of transferring files from one computer to another via the Internet.
FTP works the exact same way as your pathfinder i.e. you copy and move files in the same way. It is, however, often advisable (and from time to time necessary) to use a so-called client specifically designed for FTP transfers.

FTP servers are often protected against intruders and anonymous access. This is also the case with our FTP server. We only allow for limited access and you always need a user name and a password.
All outside users of our FTP server only have access to their own folder but can of course copy, create directories, revise and edit documents etc.

All transferred files are downloaded to our in-house system and therefore you are requested to delete all files from the FTP server as soon as you receive your confirmation of order.

FTP transferring is an extra service to our customers to be used by appointment and the users carry the full responsibility for maintenance of their own folder and e.g. deleting files from the FTP server.

As an additional safety measure, the transferred files can e.g. be protected by a password (or for example by the use of a compression program e.g. WinZip).
