3D design

3D design is an integral part of our sphere of competence.
3D entails a number of cost-saving advantages both as regards the quite simple design and the complicated assembly.

The tool is 3D design programs where the entire process from sketch (visualisation) over design to drawings is performed within the same program. This results in considerable time savings, and no information is lost.

We use SolidWorks internally, but of course we can also accept drafts in the form of IGES and STEP formats from other 3D programs such as AutoDesk Inventor, SolidEdge etc.

Gl. Bedsted Industri offers 3D drafts of new constructions and designs in the form of web-based visualisation in an ordinary browser such as Internet Explorer.
In this way our customers have the option of assessing the design in 3D, a tool minimising errors to an absolute minimum and containing considerable additional information in relation to ”simple” 2D drawings.
